As a world-famous DJ, Claudia has been seen in numerous clubs and music festivals all around the world, from Italy to Portland and Vegas in the US, to Sweden and Germany.

Heading “down under,” Australia has some of the hottest female DJs around. But of them all, there’s a strong case that Keli Hart has got them all beat. Combining her incredible beauty with her even more amazing skills, Ms. Hart is just too hot to ignore.

The Aussie has achieved several awards and accolades due to her mixing and music skills and has drawn the attention of millions of listeners all around the world.

8. Annie Mac

This one goes out to all you UK DJ lovers. Annie Mac is a British DJ that has been in the game since at least 2004. Making her name known, she has had a weekly show for BBC Radio 1 throughout her DJ career and has only grown in popularity thanks to internet streaming.

Next up is the Ukrainian tech whiz herself, Nastia.

What makes this amazing DJ just so incredible is not just the fact that she’s exceptional in her abilities at mixing music, but the fact that she has managed to successfully balance her hectic and fast-paced life with being a mother.

Starting DJing back in 05, Nastia has been to pretty much every venue in the world. From Japan to Russia, to North Africa, to throughout Europe and the US, DJ Nastia has made herself known to those that matter no matter where it is you go.

One thing everyone has commented on when it comes to Nastia and what makes her so amazing is her incredible vibe and energy. No matter who it is they’ve all noted that, once they get on the dancefloor while she’s playing, they can’t help but feel incredible.

TOKiMONSTA is the literal definition of incredible. Based in the US, Jennifer Lee (aka. TOKiMONSTA) was diagnosed with a life-threatening brain disease and had to undergo several invasive surgeries in order to save her life.

Why is this important? Because, while most people would have let that stop them, Lee actually continued to pursue her DJ and record-producing dream pushing and pushing up until the very top.

As a result, she has made an incredible name for herself and has produced as well as performed incredible songs all around the world.

5. Anja Schneider

Coming in at #5, we have our first of many German girls. As the country has become something of a techno capital throughout Europe and the world at large, expect to see this location a few times.

Specifically, regarding the incredible sensation herself, Anja Schneider is most recognized for her incredibly progressive sounds and deep house. She first started getting noticed after being broadcast on Kiss FM and Fritz Radio. There, she developed her unique minimalist yet deep techno sound that has since made her explode in popularity.

Not only is she a talent in her own right, but she has also founded the label, Mobilee Records, and has brought on several others, including Pan-Pot Audiofly, Kevin Yost, and Maya Jane Coles just to name a few.

4. Blond:ish

Composed of two friends, Anastasia and Vivie-Ann, Blond:ish is a two-girl group that was originally based out of Montreal, Canada before moving to Spain. The two have produced several officially recognized remixes from various high-profile artists such as Depenche Mode.

Their unique production style and ability to create bass lines is something they are most well-known for and is so well-engineered, you’d be hard-pressed to find anyone out there that could do better.

They are available on all popular streaming apps. including Spotify. Pandora, and Soundcloud.

3. tINI

Entering into the top 3 tINI is a DJ that very much harkens back to that old-school hip-hop vibe. Realizing her love for DJing even as early as seven years old, tINI started out in underground clubs and hip-hop joints.

One thing that makes her stand out the most is her use of vinyl records. Even now in 2021, she is one of the rare few DJs that still go old school, honestly making her mixes sound that much more authentic than her competition.

Together with her trademark curly hair, vinyl reputation, and incredible temperament tINI is a powerhouse DJ that is not to be dismissed or ignored.

2. Nicole Moudaber

Hitting the #2 spot is the Queen of Techno herself, Nicole Moudaber Managing to hit the unholy trifecta of beauty, skill, and intelligence. Nicole has always been met with ambivalence by those that have never heard her. Ambivalence that immediately transforms into shock, awe, and amazement afterward.

Nicole’s superpower is not just the fact that she has beauty, skill, and intelligence, but that she knows how to and combine them. She is incredibly versatile and has developed sounds that are linked between her close connection to Drumcode as well as Techno.

Appearing at some of the biggest and most respected clubs around the globe, this Nigerian-born DJ is one everyone should know, and more importantly, will know.

1. Ellen Allien

Finally, we have the German phenom Ellen Allien.

Allien is very much an incredible DJ in her own right, producing a discography with over eight albums to her name. Not only that, Allien has been featured with many other tracks and has produced more than every other entry on this list to date.

In the late 90s, Allien founded BPitch control and has since brought in numerous artists under her label.

Ultimately, it is because her work ethic talent and drive are so out of this world that she started going by her stage name “Allien.” If you ask us, the name certainly fits!


One thing to take away from this list was that these were the best female DJs currently in the world. Not that they were the only female DJs in the world, DJing is not a man’s only space and hasn’t been for literal decades at this point Women aren’t just enjoying and dancing to the music. They are creating and mixing it as well.
